His passion for singing was sparked by his mother, a traditional Dodo singer, whose vocal improvisations and storytelling influenced his unique style.

Olith specializes in adapting Dodo—traditionally a female praise-singing genre—into a high-energy contemporary folk style. Armed with a soulful voice, the Nyatiti (8-stringed lyre), and traditional percussion, his music weaves stories of communal life, love, social reflection, and cultural pride.
