Steenie Njoroge is a living legend of Kenyan photojournalism. With over 45 years spent documenting the arts, entertainment, and cultural life of East Africa, his archive is an irreplaceable visual record of the region's creative history. At Ketebul Music, Steenie contributes both as a photographer — capturing the artists, performances, and communities that make up the Ketebul world — and as a researcher, drawing on his vast personal archive and memory to contextualise the music being documented.
